High quality is the goal everyone pursuits, the same to the web design world. However, what does it mean by quality? And how to judge whether a design project is good or not? Once you understand how to determine a high-quality design, you then can master a large amount of design skills.

Now I will list some key points with illustrations, to show you the process of how I pursuit the “high quality”.

1. White space
Among good web designs, I will pay the most attention to those use white space wisely in-between elements. Observe the different spacing and layout method between each slice of the content, it allows you to gain more sense in overall design, and therefore enhance your design quality.

I think the key is to feel the design element from a big picture. You can do that by reducing the dimension of the design.
